When the recommended dosage is followed, no side effects are expected, except in cases where the patient is sensitive to the plant ingredients in the medication.

• Concomitant use with CNS-active medications (e.g., MAO inhibitors such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine; tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline; and SSRIs such as fluoxetine) may intensify therapeutic effects and increase the risk of adverse reactions. Concurrent use is not recommended.
• Avoid co-administration with other sedatives including barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and narcotic analgesics.
• Do not use concurrently with anticoagulants such as warfarin or heparin.
• Use with caution and under medical supervision in patients with hypertension or those taking antihypertensive medications, as this product may affect blood pressure.
• May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or decreased alertness. Until full mental alertness is restored, avoid driving, operating machinery, or engaging in activities that require concentration.
• Due to the uterine stimulant effects of harmane and harmaline alkaloids observed in animal studies, use during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.
• Discontinue use and consult a physician or pharmacist if hypersensitivity to any ingredient is suspected.
